About Adrian Tkacz

Adrian Tkacz, MD, MSc Computer Science

I am a senior technology leader and software engineer with more than 20 years of experience spanning software engineering, cloud and data platforms, healthcare IT, bioinformatics and applied data analysis. Earlier in my career, I worked as a bioinformatics researcher and programmer, applying machine learning and statistical methods to biomedical data and co-authoring scientific publications.

I have a background in both medicine and computer science. My current independent work under BioMedical-IT focuses on medical imaging, quantitative imaging, radiomics, research-data workflows and technically rigorous evaluation of AI-enabled healthcare systems.

BioMedical-IT is the place where I publish and connect that independent work. Current projects include Imaging Evidence Path, a structured self-study guide, and TRACE-CT, a reproducible quantitative CT and radiomics research project.

Professionally, I lead engineering delivery for managed cloud and data-platform services. BioMedical-IT and the projects presented here are independent work.
